WELCOME:

Warning! Exciting job ahead. I hope that you are up for the challenge. All that is required of you is the ability to live out your second childhood and PLAY, PLAY, PLAY! Perhaps you are saying that you don’t know much about soccer? Don’t worry, this handbook and game cards will do a lot of it for you. Perhaps you have played and coached for a very long time and you already have your season planned. Well this handbook may provide you with one or two new ideas to add to your repertoire. You will find on this site the ‘FUNdamental Season Objectives‘ which provide you with a general outline of the learning which will occur throughout the season. These learnings are worked into the sessions themselves. You will also find some practical coaching advice and some information to share with your parents if you so choose within the ‘Bits and Bites on FUNdamentals’ section. Finally, the ‘PRACTICE PLANS’ will give you a number of lesson plans, including games which are designed for your use. All of this should provide you with a running start to your season’s practices.
