Toilet Tag (Two Player Activity)
One person is the ‘IT’ (tagger) and the other avoids getting tagged.
– Once a tag is made, the player tagged goes down on one knee (i.e. right knee to the ground so left knee up), and the opposite arm raised to shoulder height.
– The tagger now sits gently on the knee, and pretends to flush the toilet by pushing the arm that is raised downward. The can make the noise of a toilet as they do this (young children love this exercise).
– We encourage them to pretend to wash their hands and now the player who was tagged (and was the toilet) is now the new tagger.
The leader can ask the players to move in different ways while playing the tag game, or provide an exercise to be performed before the new tagger begins the chase.
* Always encourage ‘split feet’ as they play in order to change direction.
