Breaking The Line – Rubric

Breaking The Line is individual intention (part of our Search Actions used to develop vision and awareness) that helps players find positions on the field that allow them to progress past defenders (horizontally or vertically) upon receiving the pass.

Rubrics use a set of criteria to evaluate a player learning. These rubrics consist of a fixed measurement scale and detailed description of the characteristics for each level of performance. The descriptions focus on the quality of the product or performance and not the quantity.
