Area Size: Use a Triangle with 6-10 metre sides.
Opening Up Around A Triangle With Advanced Footwork (Basic Actions)
In this variation, the challenge is for players to develop their footwork even further. By starting around the back of the cone / defender the ‘Forward Step’ followed by them quickly ‘Turning Their Hips’ allows them to travel away from the defender and still open up. The passer is encouraged to play away from the triangle / square to test the footwork of their teammate. Following the pass, the player moves to the next cone.
